This Earth is soon going to be a very different planet.

There will be little censorship of your posts for this issue. I want the appearance of militant behavior on this issue. I want Earth to be frightened into change - because we humans seem to only react to threat of destruction when action in measures of extremity is imperative to our survival. We Are a Virus in a Brief Time on a Precious Planet
Just in our brief history as upright homo sapiens who grandly manipulate our environment, we have wrecked a balanced environment that took billions of years to form.
She is our home and we are destroying her. Too many of us have the warped ideology that we are supposed to and that must change. This planet is not our domain although we humancentric and egocentric beings believe it so. Humans, as we are today are but a brief visitor in the estimated 9 billion year lifespan of this world. Yet in a veritable few days of that time we have been destroying her. We are temporary. We will be different beings as our evolution continues.
I am disgusted by this because we are supposed to be caretakers while we live here. I don’t know if I love humans more than I love this jewel called Earth. There are days when I have a conflict of emotion between those two loves. There are days I feel we do not deserve to be here. It is our temporary place in this brief history that gives me a scale that makes us small. We are like a virus on the surface of this planet.
The Earth is a jewel. It is loved not only by humans but by many others. As it is our home we must protect her walls and her ceiling and that precious roof of a thin protective layer.
When my stepfather was employed by the National Academy of Sciences in Washington D.C. I was a 14-year-old boy. He was managing a team of scientists who were studying the ozone layer. A growing hole was discovered over the Antarctic. He sounded the alarm. He started traveling and appearing on television talk shows. He explained, attempting simplicity how our Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) from our use of that gas as a propellant in many of our products were detected at altitudes where the protective layer exists.
Our scientists tried to explain our role in this destruction:
It (our CFC’s) are reducing the amount of plankton in the oceans surrounding that continent. It will not be long before that basic food source that is a beginning of a tremendous food chain on Earth is greatly diminished.
We will be trying to live with a greatly negatively impacted food chain on Earth. Acidic oceans filled with jellyfish. Wildlife and human civilization that is dependent upon that careful balance will suffer and die.
I was feeling like we had little hope. That all of our futures were screwed. I had no confidence in the adults that we could fix this large and expanding hole that was seeping ultraviolet light at dangerous levels down upon those precious lives that begin a chain of food we all depend upon. I was certain we would kill the wildlife and we would not be able to stop it.
But we did. In 1985 the Montreal Protocol was signed by 185 nations, all members of the United Nations. It was the first sweeping agreement by nations to begin to get serious about the protection of our futures and this precious planet. Humans had used a relatively inexpensive satellite mounted device to detect through filtering cameras the presence of and levels of those heavy carbons in our protective upper atmosphere. That was the evidence that could not be denied. Yet still in 2015, there are climate deniers, there are human domain protectors. They deny that our chemical and heavy carbon emissions are responsible for the immense change the Earth is going through right now.

Those deniers:
They want us to accept that the changing climate is part of the natural changes that occur due to the ever changing obliquity of the axis of this liquid core sphere. That does happen, but changes this fast, in this brief amount of time when we humans have only recently begun to heavily pollute our skies with these carbons, is far too fast to have that relationship reasonably.
That speed will be picking up now. Others will show us what can be because of these many deniers and their inability to see the evidence. Nations burning fossil fuels into the atmosphere will have to change very quickly. Far faster than limited and incremental reductions. Far faster than any supposed agreements we have seen.
Warming oceans. Super stretching high altitude streams. Super hurricanes. We will call them el’ Ninos. That will be the official line of propaganda designed to lessen our fears worldwide.
